Arista's origins go back to 1996, when a couple of motorcycling enthusiasts who worked for IC Frith & Associates Insurance Brokers decided it was time motorcycle riders had an alternative insurer to the big multinationals who dominated the market. Having based the original business plan around the Ulysses Motorcycle Club, 40Plus Motorcycle Insurance was born. In 2000 IC Frith & Associates decided it was time to separate the motorcycle agency business from the insurance broking business and created a separate underwriting agency. This agency now trades as Arista Underwriting Agency.
Since this change Arista has expanded it's base to incorporate insurance products for younger motorcycle riders and unregistered dirt bikes. Arista is also looking at expanding it’s product offering further in the future.
